Ferrlecit is a drug for patients on dialysis launched by Watson Pharmaceutical, Inc. in 1999. Ferrlecit has been approved by the FDA which injects iron in to those on dialysis. Ferrlecit is administered intravenously via an injection.

InFed is an iron deficiency treatment launched by Watson Pharmaceutical, Inc. in 1974. InFed has been approved by the FDA to treat iron deficiencies when therapy is not appropriate. InFed is administered intravenously via an injection.

Eligibility

Ferrlecit & Infed Reimbursement Assistance Program, a patient assistance program provided by Watson Pharmaceutical, Inc., offers a one time supply of Ferrlecit and InFed at no cost to those who are eligible for the program. In order to obtain a refill, you must obtain a new application. Eligibility is based off of the following requirements:

- You must not be covered by private or public health insurance.

- Your income must be less than or equal to 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline for the size of your household (see chart below).

The medication must be sent to the physicians office.

Those eligible for Medicare Part D but not enrolled may still be eligible.
