Cesamet is a synthetic cannabinoid launched by Valeant Pharmaceuticals International in 2007. Cesamet has been approved by the FDA for treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy. Cesamet is administered in capsule form.

Eligibility

Cesamet Patient Assistance Program, a patient assistance program provided by Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, offers Cesamet at no cost for up to 30 days to those who are eligible for the program. Eligibility is based off of the following requirements:

- You must be a citizen of the United States or its Territories.

- You must not be covered by any private, public, or Medicare Part D prescription coverage programs.

- Your income must be less than or equal to 250% of the Federal Poverty
