Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals is a privately held company based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. Since itsâ€™ inception in April on 2000, the company has been diligently developing, manufacturing, and distributing pharmaceuticals. Four years to the month after the company was established, the Food And Drug Administration gave final approval to market their first generic drug, Ribasphere, which treats patients afflicted by Hepatitis C. A year later, the company in licensed the anti-fungal drug Amphotec. Ribasphere is a hepatitis treatment launched by Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals in 2004. Ribaspherehas been approved by the FDA to treat hepatitis c. Ribasphere is administered orally via a tablet.

Eligibility

RibaCare Patient Assistance Program, a patient assistance program provided by Three Rivers Pharmaceuticals, offers a month supply of Ribasphere at no cost to those who are eligible for the program. Eligibility is based off of the following requirements:

- You must not be covered by private or public health insurance.

- You must meet an undisclosed income guideline.

- You must be a citizen of the United States or its Territories.

- You must be diagnosed with Hepatitis C

The medication must be sent to the physicians office.

Those eligible for Medicare Part D but not enrolled may still be eligible.
