Summary

PDL BioPharma is a company that is geared towards the crafting and development of antibodies which would greatly increase the health of patients plagued with cancer or other immunological diseases. Through the diligent work of PDL BioPharmaâ€™s research and development teams, they are constantly creating new products which they effectively market to both patients and physicians which they hope will improve the quality of their lives. Currently collaborating with partners throughout the United States and Europe, they continue to focus on, and excel in the areas of acute cardiac care, autoimmune diseases, inflammatory conditions, and cancer.

Retavase is a thrombolytic agent launched by PDL BioPharma in 1996. Retavase has been approved by the FDA to dissolve blood clots. Retavase is administered intravenously via an injection.

Eligibility

Retassist Retavase Patient Assistance Program, a patient assistance program provided by PDL BioPharma, offers Retavase at no cost to those who are eligible for the program. Eligibility is based off of the following requirements:

- Your income must be less than or equal to 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline for the size of your household (see chart below).

The medication must be sent to the physicians office.

Those eligible for Medicare Part D but not enrolled may still be eligible.

After filling out the enrollment form please bring the form to your doctor for proper signatures and procedures. Do not forget a self stamped envelope for them to mail in your application to the program.
