Niche Pharmaceuticals began in 1991, focusing on obtaining and licensing healthcare products that meet the wants and needs of their clientele. Niche outsources their manufacturing to a third party, focusing mainly on marketing their products to consumers, healthcare professionals, and physicians. Currently, they have two products available, Mag-Tab SR, a sustained release magnesium supplement, and Writreleve, designed to make more tolerable the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. Their products are distributed through wholesalers, retail pharmacies, and food and mass merchandisers.

Mag-Tab SR is a dietary supplement launched by Niche Pharmaceutical in 1991 Mag-Tab SR has been approved by the FDA as a magnesium supplement for those who are deficient. Mag-Tab SR is administered orally via tablet.

Eligibility

Niche Pharmaceuticals Patient Assistance Program, a patient assistance program provided by Niche Pharmaceutical, offers a three month supply Mag-Tab SR at no cost to those who are eligible for the program. Eligibility is based off of the following requirements:

- You must not be covered by private or public health insurance.

- You must make less than or equal to $12,000 annually for a single person, or $20,000 annually for a household. Of the cumulative household income, three quarters of that must come from Social Security or disability.

- You may be eligible to receive this medication as long as the allotted amount for the program for the year has not been exhausted.

The medication must be sent to the physicians office.

Those eligible for Medicare Part D but not enrolled may still be eligible.
