Ethyol Injection has been approved by the FDA to alleviate certain side effects of chemotherapy in patients receiving radiation treatment. Ethyol is administered via an injection.

Neutrexin is a drug which treats AIDS-related conditions, and was launched by MediImmune, Inc in 1993. Neutrexin has been approved by the FDA to treat pneumocystic carinii pneumonia in AIDS patients.. Neutrexin is administered via an injection.

Eligibility

Ethyol Protect Program , a patient assistance program provided by MediImmune, Inc., offers Ethyol Injection and Neutrexin at no cost to those who are eligible for the program. Eligibility is based off of the following requirements:

- You must not be covered by private or public health insurance.

- You must meet an undisclosed income guideline.

- You must be a citizen of the United States or its Territories.

- You are not eligible for this program if you are eligible for Medicare D but are not enrolled.

The medication must be sent to the physicians office.

Those eligible for Medicare Part D but not enrolled may still be eligible.
