Altima is a type of chemotherapy introduced by Eli Lilly & Company in 2004. Altima has been approved by the FDA to provide second-line treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. Altima is administered by a physician through infusion.

Gemzar is a type of chemotherapy introduced by Eli Lilly & Company in 2006. Gemzar has been approved by the FDA for treatment of ovarian cancer, metastatic breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and pancreatic cancer. Gemzar is administered by a physician through infusion.


PatientOne, a patient assistance program provided by Eli Lilly & Company, offers an one year supply of Alimta or Gemzar at no cost to those who are eligible for the program. Eligibility is based off of the following requirements:

  • You must not be covered by any private, public, or Medicare Part D prescription coverage programs.
  • You must meet an undisclosed income guideline.
  • Half of the enrollment application must be filled out by your physician. Your medicine will be sent to your physicians office. To request a refill, your physician must contact the company.

After filling out the enrollment form please bring the form to your doctor for proper signatures and procedures.
