Provigil is a eugeroic drug launched by Cephalon, Inc. in 1998. Provigil has been approved by the FDA as part of a treatment for patients suffering from day time sleepiness caused by narcolepsy or obstructive sleep apnea. Provigil is administered in tablet form.

Eligibility

Provigil Assistance Program, a patient assistance program provided by Cephalon, Inc., offers Provigil at no cost for up to 1 year to those who are eligible for the program. Eligibility is based off of the following requirements:

- You must be a citizen of the United States or its Territories.

- You must not be covered by private or public health insurance.

- You must not be eligible for Medicaid or Medicare.

- You must meet an undisclosed income guideline.
