American Regent, Inc. was founded in 1967 as American Quinine. The name was changed during the 1980's to American Regent Laboratories, Inc. after the company was acquired by Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, Inc., then was later shortened to American Regent, Inc. in 2002. The company specifically focuses in the development and marketing of parenteral products throughout the United States. With over 40 years of authority in this field, American Regent, Inc. is considered to be one of the leading authorities on injectable products with the United States and globally as well.
Venofer is an iron sucrose injection launched American Regent, Inc. in 2000. Venofer has been approved by the FDA treatment of iron deficiency anemia. Venofer is administered through injection form.
Eligibility
Venofer Reimbursement Hotline and Patient Assistance Program, a patient assistance program provided by American Regent, Inc., offers Venofer at no cost to those who are eligible for the program. Eligibility is based off of the following requirements:
- You must be a citizen of the United States or its Territories.
- You must not be covered by any private, public, or Medicare Part D prescription coverage programs.
- You must meet an undisclosed income guideline.
- You must have already received the medication, as this is a hospital replacement program.
- You must be taking Venofer for a condition listed on the FDA label.
Those eligible for Medicare Part D but not enrolled may still be eligible.
The medication must be sent to the physicians office.
