When You Should Not Take The Medication

You should not take this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to chlorpheniramine, methscopolamine, or any other anticholinergic or antihistamine medicine. You should not use this medicine if you have used an MAO inhibitor (MAOI) within the past 14 days, such as Eldepryl®, Marplan®, Nardil®, or Parnate®. You should not use this medicine during an asthma attack, or if you have glaucoma (increased pressure in your eyes). You should not use this medicine if you have severe high blood pressure, or certain other heart problems. You should not use this medicine if you have a narrowed or blocked urinary tract, or if you have an enlarged prostate gland. You should not use this medicine if you have an ulcer, or if you have an overactive thyroid gland. You should not use this medicine if you are breast feeding a child. This medicine should not be given to a child under the age of 6 years old.

How To Store And Dispose Of This Medicine


Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep all medicine away from children and never share your medicine with anyone.

Ask your pharmacist, doctor, or health caregiver about the best way to dispose of any outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.

Possible Side Effects While Using This Medicine


Call your doctor right away if you notice any of these side effects:
Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing.
Chest pain or tightness.
Fainting, seizures, or severe weakness or tiredness.
Fever with a sore throat.
Trouble thinking clearly, or seeing or hearing things that are not there.
Unusual bleeding or bruising.
Very fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeat.

If you notice these less serious side effects, talk with your doctor:
Change in how often or how much you urinate, or painful urination.
Clumsiness or unsteadiness.
Feeling unusually excited, irritable, moody, nervous, or restless.
Headache, or flushing (redness and heat) of the face.
Loss of appetite, stomach pain, or stomach upset.
Ringing or buzzing sound in your ears.
Trouble sleeping.
Very dry mouth, nose, or throat.
Vision changes, or blurry vision.

If you notice other side effects that you think are caused by this medicine, tell your doctor.
