VITAMIN B12/FOLIC ACID/VITAMIN B6 - ORAL

Uses
This combination vitamin product is used to prevent or treat deficiencies in vitamins B6, B12, and folic acid.
How To Use
Take this medication by mouth usually once daily with or without food; or as directed by your doctor. If stomach upset occurs, it may help to take this product with food.
Side Effects
Nausea, stomach upset, or unpleasant taste may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Tell your doctor if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: tingling or numbness of the hands or feet, mental/mood changes, unusual weakness. An allergic reaction to this vitamin product is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.g., megaloblastic anemia, pernicious anemia), any allergies. This vitamin may be taken as prescribed by your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Drug Interactions
This drug is not recommended for use with: altretamine, cisplatin. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more details. Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially: other vitamin products, pyrimethamine, hydantoins (e.g., phenytoin), levodopa. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: stomach pain, vomiting.
Notes
Do not share this medication with others.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
Storage
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture.
