Testim is a hydroalcoholic topical gel containing small amounts of testosterone launched by Auxilium Pharmaceuticals Inc. in 2002. Testim has been approved by the FDA for testosterone replacement therapy. Testim is applied topically.
Eligibility:
Auxilium Patient Assistance Program, a patient assistance program provided by Auxilium Pharmaceuticals Inc., offers Testim at no cost for 90 days to those who are eligible for the program. Eligibility is based off of the following requirements:
- You must not be covered by any private, public, or Medicare Part D prescription coverage programs.
- Your annual income must be no greater than $18,000 if single, but no greater than $24,000 for your entire household.
Those eligible for Medicare Part D but not enrolled may still be eligible.
The medication must be sent to the physicians office.
